After 13 years in the Singapore Armed Forces, Dave brought battlefield precision to the front line of cybersecurity. As CEO of CyberSafe, he hasn’t just built a company, he’s built a movement. One that champions SMEs, raises the bar on national cyber readiness, and refuses to wait for a crisis to prove a point.
Under his leadership, CyberSafe was among the first companies in Singapore to earn both the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Trust certifications and helped over 160 organisations achieve the same, because elevating national resilience doesn’t happen by accident.
Dave’s mission is national, regional, and global. He serves on the CSA Singapore Standards Working Group for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Trust, and the IMDA Standards Working Group for the Data Protection Trustmark, actively contributing to Singapore’s digital future. He is also the Group Data Protection Officer of St John Singapore, a member of the IT & Risk Advisory Panel at the Singapore Red Cross Society, and part of Fortune’s 40 Under 40 Business Leaders Singapore Class of 2025.
He led the charge to certify the first non-Singapore entity under Cyber Essentials, extending Singapore’s influence abroad to Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Japan and the UAE, earning his CISO Leader of the Year Award and Global Pioneer of the Year Award by the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore in 2024.
Visionary? Absolutely. But always grounded in one belief: If you’re not securing the future, you’re already behind
Capt Sharma doesn’t just lead from the front, he’s been doing it from 30,000 feet and beyond for over half a century.
With 55 years of aviation experience, Capt Sharma was part of the pioneer batch of RSAF fighter pilots, trained in the UK and USA when Singapore’s air power was still finding its wings. But he didn’t just fly, he defined what it meant to be operationally ready.
From commanding elite flying squadrons to leading multinational air exercises as Chief Controller, Capt Sharma’s military tenure shaped doctrine, sharpened combat readiness, and built alliances across borders. He’s served as Head of Air Force Inspectorate, Head of Doctrine & Procedures, and steered critical RSAF detachments across continents, always with precision, discipline, and strategic foresight.
After leaving the RSAF in 1990, Capt Sharma brought his mission mindset to the private sector. He founded multiple civilian aviation organisations in Singapore, Malaysia, and the UAE, deploying specially modified executive jets for electronic warfare training, aerial targets, and simulated threat operations. He flew until 2015, clocking over 15,000 flight hours across complex platforms and unforgiving theatres.
As Chairman of CyberSafe, Capt Sharma brings that same ethos to the cyber domain: disciplined systems, mission-first thinking, and global operational awareness. He also serves as Chairman of Bass Aero Pte Ltd, supporting private aviation across the Asia Pacific, and remains an active force in the Singapore Armed Forces Veterans Association.
His message is clear: Readiness is not a state. It’s a mindset. And at CyberSafe, it starts at the top.
Vanessa doesn’t just optimise operations, she orchestrates impact.
As Chief Operating Officer of CyberSafe, Vanessa brings rigour, foresight, and precision to every part of the business engine. She crafts company policies that keep us in lockstep with regulatory demands, leads high-performing cross-functional teams, and partners with the CFO to sharpen our financial planning. The result? Operations that are leaner, governance that’s stronger, and a business that’s ready for scale.
Before CyberSafe, Vanessa was Managing Partner at Katong Enamel, where she redefined business strategy, drove brand growth, and took command of procurement, inventory, and licensing compliance. Her journey also includes a foundation in education where she engaged minds and built lasting connections, a testament to her ability to lead with both structure and empathy.
At CyberSafe, she is the quiet force behind our momentum. Systems builder. Governance anchor. Relentless in pursuit of excellence.
Isaac doesn’t just build defences, he builds the future of cyber resilience.
As CTO of CyberSafe, Isaac leads the charge on secure infrastructure, rapid-response strategies, and cutting-edge automation. Every system hardened, every process streamlined, every threat neutralised. He’s the technical brain behind our operational muscle.
Armed with a Cybersecurity Honours degree from Coventry University and certified in Personal Data Protection, Isaac backs theory with action. He’s currently deep into the CISM track, sharpening his strategic edge and reinforcing his leadership in enterprise security.
His expertise runs deep: NIST and CIS controls. Blue Team operations. Legacy-to-modern incident response. And automation? He codes it all, from Python to Google Apps Script, building custom tools that boost speed, accuracy, and impact.
At CyberSafe, Isaac ensures we don’t just react to cyber threats, we predict them. Because in a world of evolving risks, being prepared isn’t enough. You have to be ahead.
Regine doesn’t just talk growth, she delivers it.
From aviation to banking to cybersecurity, she’s built a career on creating momentum where others stall. At the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), she ran high-stakes international events that tightened stakeholder ties and elevated public trust. At OCBC, she sharpened her edge in business banking, supporting SMEs, managing corporate portfolios, and closing deals that moved the needle.
Now at CyberSafe, she leads all revenue-generating functions, sales, partnerships, and customer success, with one goal: to keep us expanding, aligned, and impossible to ignore. If it drives growth and serves the client, Regine’s on it.
Azizah keeps us sharp, disciplined, and accountable.
At the helm of Compliance and Quality, she ensures CyberSafe doesn’t just meet standards, we set them. Drawing from her years building military-grade training frameworks at the Singapore Armed Forces’ Island Defence Training Institute, Azizah brings structure, precision, and zero tolerance for mediocrity.
She leads our internal conversion programme, a bootcamp that turns raw talent into high-performance teams. Technical chops, yes. But also communication, professionalism, and the CyberSafe mindset.
Her message is clear: cybersecurity isn’t just about tools. It’s about discipline. Under Azizah’s watch, we don’t cut corners, we close them.
Fabian doesn’t just design cloud security, he architects trust at scale.
As Lead Cloud Security Architect at CyberSafe, Fabian shapes the blueprints of our digital defences. From AWS to complex multi-cloud terrains, he engineers security frameworks that are proactive, precise, and impossible to ignore. Every architecture he builds is born from purpose: to reduce risk, automate response, and keep us one step ahead of the threat curve.
With over nine years in the field and top-tier certifications, GCSA, GCPN, GPCS, GCTD, Fabian brings battle-tested expertise to every environment he touches. He’s led DevSecOps transformations from the ground up, embedded security into agile workflows, and built automated guardrails that protect without slowing progress. The result? Tighter integrations, smaller attack surfaces, stronger outcomes.
But Fabian’s true edge? He unites people as well as systems. A natural connector between developers and defenders, he fosters security-first cultures that last beyond projects and platforms.
At CyberSafe, Fabian is the mind behind our most resilient cloud strategies. Because in his world, the cloud should never be your weakest link; it should be your strongest shield.
Shane doesn’t just tell the story, he makes it matter.
With roots in military leadership and over a decade spent shaping narratives for defence, tech, and luxury brands, Shane brings discipline and edge to the CyberSafe voice. Before joining the team, he ran a content agency that delivered for high-stakes clients across industries where every word counts.
At CyberSafe, Shane leads our public-facing presence. Press, podcasts, keynote scripts, viral campaigns, and everything in between. He’s the architect behind our media strategy and the launch force behind CyberSafeTV, our podcast platform.
His rule? Say what matters, and say it well. Because in cybersecurity, truth informs and clarity protects. The right words, at the right time, can make all the difference
